Audacity vs. GarageBand '09

For this project I decided to do a comparison between Audacity, a free open source software for recording and editing sounds and GarageBand '09, an Apple software program that allows users to learn to play an instrument, write music, or record songs (Audacity: Free Audio Editor and Recorder, 2009; GarageBand '09, 2009). 

GarageBand software comes installed on all new Mac computers (since 2004) or newer versions can be purchased with iLife '09 (retails for $79.00 and includes GarageBand, iPhoto, iDVD, iTunes, iMovie, and iWeb) (Introduction to GarageBand, 2008).
